WebSocket4Net client for Java/Android

I'm using the SuperSocket server hosted in c# and WebSocket4Net client used in a Windows Phone 8 App.

I'm ready to move on to the Android app and am wondering if anyone knows of a library that can connect to and talk to the SuperSocket server -- basically, I need something in Android that can duplicate what WebSocket4Net handles already.

Can I use any WebSocket connector to communicate with the server or is there a special protocol that I would need to implement on top of it?

Yes, of source! You can use any java android websocket client. BTW, you also can use the mono for android version of websocket4net.

Is it possible to use the mono version inside of a native Android app? I.e, my Android app is built using Eclipse and Java -- can I still use the mono version?

If I find a java websocket client, is there anything I'd need to do to make it communicate with the SuperSocket server? Such as special protocol changes, etc.?
